DSC06683.JPGDr. Jennifer Freeman

Originally from the midwest, Dr. Freeman transplanted to Gilbert, Arizona in 1989.  She graduated from Gilbert High School (Go Tigers!) in 1993.  She then attended the University of Arizona before attending Colorado State University for veterinary school.  She graduated from Colorado State University in 2000 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Summa Cum Laude (top of her class).  She then completed an intensive one year internship at Mesa Veterinary Hospital working with specialists in multiple areas of veterinary medicine.  She then stayed on with Mesa Veterinary Hospital for 3 more years as a general practitioner before moving over to Power Road Animal Hospital to work with her husband, Dr. Alber, in 2004.  In June of 2006, Dr. Alber and Dr. Freeman were ready to begin their own practice so they took over Prestige Animal Clinic in Gilbert from the previous owner.

Dr. Carter is an Arizona native. Originally from Safford, making his way to Mesa, and finally settling in Queen Creek. Dr. Carter has a love for horses and ranching. He attended Farrier school in 1999, then to ASU for his Bachelors in Agriculture Business. In 2016 he graduated from Washing State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. He has a special interest from internal medicine, theriogenology, and general surgery. Dr. Carter has a several animals that include horses, goats, and dogs.

Dr. Brad Barnett

Dr. Barnett was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. After high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served 6 years as a flight mechanic on a C-130 aerial refueling aircraft and eventually as a squadron maintenance control officer After his service, he earned a Bachelor's in veterinary science and chemistry. He then moved to Oregon where he pursued his dream of becoming a veterinarian and received his doctorate from Oregon State University in 2009. Dr. Barnett has gained and developed a passion for dentistry and neurology. He looks forward to seeing you and your furry family for any of your veterinary needs.

Ashley- Hospital Manager

I have been in the veterinary field since 2007. I started out as a veterinary technician for 6 years and then transferred to human medicine as a surgical technician. I realized that veterinary medicine was my passion. As I finished my Bachelors in health care administration, I knew I wanted to manage a veterinary hospital. I am also an enlisted member of the Army National Guard since 2013. I have 2 cats, Anakin and Arty.

Kay, Receptionist

 I am originally from Christchurch, New Zealand.  I have been   working in the veterinary field since 2002.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Dale, and we live with our 2 dogs, "Gracie" and "Teddy" and 1 cat, named "Cat".

I was born and raised in California but have been in Arizona for the past 3 years. I have two children, one dog and one crazy cat. I love working at Prestige Animal Clinic and all the staff.

Patty, Receptionist

I was born and raised in Michigan but have been back and forth to Arizona several times over the past 10 years.  Knowing I needed the sun and heat, I returned once again to stay as of October 2016. I am married to my best friend who has two children and many grandchildren. I enjoy my life, family and friends. I love the staff and working at Prestige Animal Clinic.

Jamie, Certified Veterinary Technician

Hi, my name is Jamie.  I am from Scottsdale and I graduated from Mesa Community College in May 2014 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician.  I did an internship here at Prestige and was offered a job here when I finished!  I have a cat named Yuki and I also have a leopard gecko.  I love the wonderful doctors and technicians that I work with!
